The film is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a former revolutionary forced back into action when his daughter is threatened many years after his past life. The tone blends sharp action, political undercurrents, humor and emotional stakes, set in an alternate-today America, the story spans from insurgent raids to a more personal father-daughter journey.
