Black Sheep Music's Contribution to 11 Clio-Nominated Campaigns
We’re happy to share the exciting news that 11 campaigns featuring Black Sheep Music’s sound design and music have been nominated for Clio Awards this year. Black Sheep Music is our trailer music publishing company, bringing innovative sound and music to Hollywood blockbuster film trailers. It’s truly humbling to see our work recognized, and we’re grateful to be a part of such meaningful collaborations across a variety of projects.
What Are the Clio Advertising Awards?
The Clio Awards are one of the most prestigious honors in the advertising industry, celebrating creative excellence across advertising, design, and communication. Established in 1959, these awards recognize standout work in various media, including film, TV, digital, and print, across categories like branded content, music, sound design, and more. Winning a Clio is considered a major achievement, as it highlights innovation, creativity, and impact in the global advertising and marketing industries.
Our Nominated Campaigns
This year’s nominated campaigns include Problemista, The Fall Guy, Shogun, Killers of the Flower Moon, Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place: Day One, Monkey Man, Destiny 2, Deadpool & Wolverine, Civil War, and The Strangers: Chapter One. For eight of these, Black Sheep Music contributed sound design, helping to create immersive experiences that were integral to the storytelling.
Additionally, Black Sheep Music had the chance to contribute music to the TV spot for Monkey Man and the main trailers for Destiny 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine. Each of these projects presented unique creative challenges, and we’re proud to have played a part, but we’re equally thankful for the incredible teams and partners we worked alongside.
Destiny 2: Spotlight on Our Billie Eilish Remix
One project we’re particularly honored to have worked on is the Destiny 2: The Final Shape launch trailer, which features our remix of Billie Eilish’s “everything i wanted.” This remix, created by Nathan Fields, Bojan Katalina, and Darby Phillips, was a collaborative effort that we’re incredibly proud of—and it’s now been nominated in the music category for a Clio Award. Seeing it featured in such a high-profile campaign has been a rewarding experience for the whole team, and we’re thankful to be recognized by our community!
Grateful for the Journey
Looking back on the year, we feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of such a wide range of creative projects. Whether through sound design or music, our goal is always to support the vision of each project and help create something memorable. These Clio nominations are a reflection of the hard work and dedication of not just our team at Black Sheep Music, but also the many collaborators and partners who made these projects possible.
We’re looking forward to the Clio Awards, and no matter the outcome, we’re just grateful to be a part of the journey.
