Origin: Mod-Keys is the first release in our free Origin Series of Kontakt instruments. It’s a playable piano created by sampling Eurorack modular synthesizers. Raw oscillator tones were processed through granular modules, low-fi coloration, distortion, and the famous Clouds reverb before being carefully sampled and mapped into Kontakt.

The result is a warm modular piano full of artifacts and intentional imperfections that moves from dry and intimate to lush and cinematic with a single key.

Four Playable Modes
+ Six Crafted FX

Four keyswitchable modes shift Mod-Keys from a dry modular piano into ambient, cinematic textures, while six modular-inspired FX let you shape the sound even further.

• Mode I – Dry and intimate
• Mode II – Clouds texture, short release
• Mode III – Long ambient sustain
• Mode IV – Slow attack pad

FX: low-pass, hi-pass, distortion, delay, reverb, and tape
